  I used to enjoy coming here occasionally with my husband and boys, but recently I took my dad there for a halibut dinner, as his nursing care home is just up the road from there and I ended up getting very sick in the middle of the night from what I presume was from what I had eaten at the restraint.. because no sickness followed. I had originally planned on taking my dad to the movies, but Colossus had no power apparently.. I had asked my dad were he'd like to eat, of course of all places he had his heart set on Salty's, I was apprehensive returning there, due to my unpleasant experience, but because my dad was adamant he wanted halibut, I decided to take him to the other Salty's location in Surrey, what a disappointment, I explained to the waitress my previous unpleasant experience, as she recognized us from the other location, she was apologetic, which I appreciate and understand as it's not her fault. I honestly wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, as I have eaten there before with no issues. I ordered myself water and chicken strips and a bottled water, thought I'd try be on the safe side, sure enough I just woke up from my sleep needed to run to the toilet, ugh never again!

  Disappointed. Have been wanting to try for a while since Robbs Fish n Chips are no longer in business. Mushy peas were like bland mushy pea baby food. Batter greasy. More like English batter than Scottish. Halibut meat good but I've had better.
