  The staff are super helpful and gave amazing suggestions. I tried this store for the first time today.... and I will be back!

  Is it store policy to tell customers that they have 5 minutes before the store closes when asking if they need help? I arrived in the store at 6:20pm and by 6:25, was told twice that it was about to close. One employee asked if she could help me and I said I had what I needed but just wanted to check around for anything else I missed. I was told "Well the store is about to close so you have a few minutes." I felt rushed so I approached the pay counter but saw another product I am familiar with and started looking at it. There was an employee at the cash and when she saw I was looking at the product, informed me that the store was now closed. No smile or indication of wrongdoing, no thank you for shopping as I left. Another customer knocked over her shopping hand basket in her rush to grab another thing she needed from the refrigerated products by the entrance. Clearly, she also felt rushed. In any other store I have been in, or also been an employee in, the customer is made to feel valued and welcome regardless of how close to closing hours. Anything otherwise is rude and unprofessional. If a customer is inconsiderate of business hours and stays well beyond closing, this is the time to be reminded in a courteous way. As for me, I was out and in my car by 6:32 which is evidence of the described scenario. If a store leaves a bad taste in the mouth, how does this build a business or keep customers coming back and giving good word of mouth reviews? I will unfortunately think twice about giving The Organic Grocer my business based on today's experience, and I have been a customer for many years, even if infrequent. (My service points are on file.) Nowadays, organic food stores compete with regular grocery stores who also carry organic/natural foods and supplements at competitive prices. It is in your store's best interest to keep customer service satisfaction a high priority, as customer service is a rare commodity. I was less than impressed with today and I thought you should know.   Thought I would pop in while doing my laundry next door. You guys are awesome! There are so many vegan products and you carry Pacifica as well! Just bought some vegan cookies and they are delicious :) A little on the pricey side but will def be stopping by again in the near future for some vegan purchases.

  I have been making my own deodorant for a while from mainly food grade products and I have been thinking to branch out and try to make other hygiene products so I went into this location with a list of items I needed. I was greeted warmly by one of the staff who took me around and helped me find everything I needed and answered my questions. When I reached the till at the end another staff member asked me to sign up for an account in the store that gave me about 5% off my bill. I barely provided any info for that as well. All in all, I called a couple places before going to the organic grocer and I found they had many of the items I was looking for, the kind treatment of the staff was just a bonus.
