  My wife and I just made a trip back to Greece for WAY under $100! We just got home from dinner at Assini, and it was fabulous. The food's always great there, but tonight Vic outdid himself. After a small bowl of tomato-vegetable soup, I started with the saganaki, and my wife had the feta pâté, which is a fairly new item on the menu. The saganaki had just the right amount of lemon and was fun to watch, and the pâté was simply sublime. The server opened a bottle of Tsantali, and we sipped and savoured. As the Greek music played, my wife looked across the table and said, "This feels like we're back in Greece". We moved on to the mains and went with the Sunday night special...chicken souvlaki for two, served with Greek salad, rice, potatoes, veggies and bread. The salad comes first, and has a creamy dressing that I can't get enough of. The chicken was perfect, flavourful and moist, and the veggies (green and yellow beans) were splendid. Delicious rice and potatoes rounded out a meal that I tried my level best to finish, but couldn't quite manage! I'm not sure I'll ever get a chance to try dessert at Assini. Go...eat...feel Greek for a night!

  The pizzas are phenomenal. We had the spinach, dill and cheese pizza. We didn't miss the meat. A family business, so give them your support instead of the Panago's and Pizza Huts... Eating in is a respectable restaurant, I have been supporting Assini's for many years.

  We absolutely love this restaurant! We always receive such great service and amazing food. We come here at least once a week and really appreciate the warm and friendly family atmosphere. Definitely recommend :)

  Have been going to Assini's for many years. I call it my go-to place when I want a good meal. I have NEVER had a bad meal or service here. Food is always very tasty hot and prepared to perfection. I have gone with just a couple people or a large group and we always have a great time. Prices are very reasonable, I highly recommend this establishment.
